Privacy policy
Your answers stay on your device. Here is everything we do receive, and why.
Last updated 13 October 2026. This plain-language policy describes how ICAPsychometrics handles personal data.
The short version
- The test runs in your browser. Your answers, scores and results are calculated and stored on your device, and we never receive them.
- We receive your email address and anything else you enter only when you choose to submit one of our forms.
- Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not see your full card details.
- This site runs no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking scripts.
- We do not sell or share your personal data.
Who we are
Integrated Cognitive Assessment and Psychometrics (ICAPsychometrics) is a business of ANTHRL, the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy request, use the Contact link at the bottom of any page.
What stays on your device
When you take the online test, your responses, scores, profile and history are stored in your browser's local storage under one key for this site. This storage is necessary for the test to remember your progress, and it never leaves your device. Delete it with "Clear my saved results" on the test page or in your browser settings. The offline file works the same way.
What we receive, and why

|---|---|---|---|
| What you enter in our forms (email address and any other details you choose to give) | You request the offline file, email yourself your results, start a purchase or contact us | To deliver what you asked for, answer you and send purchase emails; optional research questions are used for research only with your consent | Until you ask us to delete it, or as tax law requires for purchases |
| Profile and scores sent with "Email my results" | Only if you choose that option | To send you your results and a few emails about your profile, until you unsubscribe | Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them |
| Payment details | You complete a purchase | To take payment and manage subscriptions; processed by our payment processor, so we never see your full card details | As tax and accounting law requires |

| Server logs (such as IP address and browser) | Any visit, kept by our hosting provider | Security and reliability | As set by the hosting provider |
Legal bases (UK and EU visitors)
Delivering what you ask for: performance of a contract or steps you request before one. Optional research questions: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Security logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe.
Sensitive information
The ICA does not ask about health, and we never use results to infer health or any other sensitive characteristic.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export the data we hold about you, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Send your request through the Contact link at the bottom of any page; we respond within the time the law requires. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The ICA is for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to run the service: Baserow for our forms, a payment processor for purchases, and providers for website hosting and email delivery. They process personal data only on our instructions and under contracts that require them to keep it secure and confidential. Where personal data is transferred outside your country, we rely on safeguards recognized by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes
If we add any analytics or change how data is handled, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
