Terms of service

Last updated 13 October 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and ANTHRL, which operates Integrated Cognitive Assessment and Psychometrics (ICAPsychometrics). They are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

What the ICA is

The ICA is a behavioral-preference assessment, and its accuracy is currently being studied. It is not a clinical, medical or diagnostic test, does not measure intelligence or cognitive ability, and does not screen for dementia or any other condition. Use it as one input in decisions such as hiring, never as the sole basis for a consequential decision.

Permitted and prohibited uses

You may use the ICA for personal reflection and, with a practitioner license, in coaching, team development, hiring, education and wellbeing. Results may be used as one input in decisions about people, but not as the sole basis for any decision with legal or similarly significant effects on a person, and not for clinical diagnosis.

Products and prices

Prices are shown in US dollars on each product page. Prices increase 10% annually. This increase funds our ongoing validation research. The premium report, practitioner license, certification and upgrade are one-time purchases. License keys are tied to the assessment file and are not centrally revoked.

The annual subscription

The subscription costs $98 for the first year and renews automatically each year until you cancel. Each renewal is charged at the annual price shown on our site at the time of renewal. You can cancel at any time through the Contact link at the bottom of any page; canceling stops the next renewal.

Refunds

The test is free, so you can see your results before buying. For paid products, contact us through the Contact link at the bottom of any page within 30 days of purchase if you are not satisfied. We review each request individually and, where a refund is approved, return it to the original payment method.

Certification

Certification is a private credential issued by ICAPsychometrics. It is not a state license or professional certification and does not authorize anyone to provide psychological services.

Intellectual property

The ICA items, scoring, profile texts and software are owned by ANTHRL. You may share the free assessment file unchanged. You may not resell, modify or republish the items or reports.

No warranty

The ICA's accuracy is currently being studied. It is provided as is, for reflection, without any warranty that results are accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
